“Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.”
Marilyn Monroe
This is exactly how I feel about my new shoes...
Meet Bond. (Just Bond)
It was love at first sight after seeing these at the Kurt Geiger SS14 press day. Bond is part of the B Series collection from the very talented Kurt Geiger London design team. Made in Italy and designed in London, these heels are so glamorous and fun.
Paired with anything from skinny jeans, to 'boyfriend' jeans, to midi skirts and bodycon dresses, I can't wait to play dress up with them and take them on more exciting adventures.

Ankle socks: H&M
This is from the 'Trend' section in H&M. I always aim for this part of the store when I head to H&M. The quality, fit and value of Trend is great and I rarely leave empty handed!
I can't wait until their AW14 studio to collection to hit stores as, after watching their Paris show from the comfort of my sofa, I saw so many pieces that need to be in my wardrobe for next season!

Seeing as you all liked my last beauty related post, I thought I'd do another one.
I decided to give my skincare routine a bit of a revamp recently. Something that is quite a big step for me as I have the most sensitive skin ever and have to be very careful with what I slap on my face.
These are three products that I've been left speechless about. Which, if you know me is difficult.
I like to call them the three amigos. Because, they are going to be my skins friends forever. All by La Roche-Posay a brand that I literally can't fault.
The Cicaplast Baume B5 cream is something I use overnight. It's a bit like a face mask and is great for hydration and healing the skin if you've had a breakout or have any redness left from a spot. I've been using it for the last week and, I've noticed a difference in my skin already - it's definitely much more 'fresher' looking and less dry.
Effaclar Duo + is a wonder. I'm not sure what they put in the tube but, it totally does exactly what it claims to do. Smear it over your face before going to bed and when you wake up the next day, any blemishes or spots will be noticeably smaller. Keep applying it for a few days and, they'll be gone.
Effaclar A.I is also a dream to use. It's specifically designed to target individual blemishes and, helps reduce the redness left over from them. Apply directly to the spot/blemish before bed and when you wake up and, it will be gone in a few days.
Brilliant stuff.
All available online and at selected Boots stores. Escentual have a third off French beauty products throughout March so, perfect for saving the pennies!
'In this self-confessed fashionista's life, it is all, and will always be, about the stiletto'
Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, Creative Director
Amen to that!
I had to share this beautiful film that the lovely team at Kurt Geiger sent over. This film follows the journey of Creative Director, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley and the design team at the Britton Street studio creating the signature 'Britton' stiletto along with its handcraftmanship taking place at the Florentine factory in Italy.
Styled for London's city streets where a covered leather heel is less practical (girls, we've all had experience there!), Creative Director, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley created 'Britton' and the B Series, crafted with a metal pin-heel to stretch the design of the stiletto to be worn for real life and enjoyed everyday.
Sit back, enjoy and be prepared to feel the urge to indulge in a pair of Britton stilettos.
The lovely people at Joules got in touch with me a couple of weeks ago to ask if they could send me something to feature. I was intrigued as Joules is a brand that in all honesty, I don't usually look at but, after browsing their website I found a few pieces that need to be in my wardrobe. Including, this Nautical ladies blouse - perfect for a trip to the beach, right?
The has been shining for the last few days so, naturally I head to my favourite place - the beach. I'm lucky enough to live 7 minutes (yes, I counted) from the sea and now the weather is behaving itself, hopefully I'll be using this glorious place as a backdrop to some outfit posts.
Keeping with the Nautical theme of the blouse, I teamed it with a pair of white skinny jeans and a pair of heeled sandals. A slick of red lipgloss and, all that was missing was a boat and a handsome captain to sail away with.
I'll be pairing this blouse with a pair of denim shorts and some pretty flat sandals as soon as the weather is warmer.
