I've spent the last day pouring over the shows from London (New York is already up here) and, I can't wait to see what Milan and Paris have in store.
I always look forward to London Fashion Week for many reasons. One of the main ones being that a couple of my favourite brands show during the week.
Above are my favourite shows from LFW. Go grab yourself a cup of tea, and enjoy!

Fashion month is nearly over, with Paris only a couple of days away. I've kept an eye on what's been going on in NYC, London and Milan, and I have to say SS17 is looking dreamy.
Here are my favourite shows from NYFW. J Crew gets my vote - is it wrong that I'm already making a mental wish list for next season pieces?

It's pay day this week, and it can't come soon enough! I always go a little shopping crazy this time of year as a lot of brands have dropped new season pieces in to their stores. I've declared my love for Autumn wardrobe pieces time and time again on WLDN, and this season it's huge.
I've already purchased quite a few new items for the cooler months, and can't wait to wear them. Keep checking back here for a few outfit posts (yes, I'm FINALLY getting back in front of the camera!) very soon.
Beauty brand Kat Von D has launched in Debenhams this month, and I'm super excited about this. I got a few of her Everlasting Liquid lipsticks when I was in New York and I love them, so I can't wait to purchase a few more shades that I couldn't get my mitts on, as they were sold out in Sephora.
With Zara, Cos and Whistles being my favourite brands of the moment, and boy do they have some killer pieces - I know where my money is going come pay day.

My love for MUJI is pretty huge, and I can’t walk past one of their stores without popping in and stocking up on their pens, beauty tools and travel accessories. I also love to have a little pamper time at least once a week, and I’m always on the look out for products to help create an at-home spa atmosphere and I think I’ve found just the thing.
Scent is one of the most deep-routed senses, and is proven to influence your mood and wellbeing. MUJI’s collection of 100% pure essential oils developed for their emotional and physical benefits can be used for massage, bathing and with the MUJI Aroma Diffuser. I have Peppermint, Grapefruit and Lavender - the latter being so so good for bedtime.
I’ve always been intrigued by their Aroma Diffusers (they’re the white, minimalist hubs that puff out fragrant mist as you walk into one of their stores), and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one a few weeks ago. A candle lover through and through, I was a little skeptical at first - how could something that puffs scents really be that effective? As it turns out, it really is effective and I’ve found myself turning to this instead of candles when I attempt to turn my bedroom into a spa-esque atmosphere.
The large aroma diffuser uses ultrasonic waves to vaporise water and the essential oil in the tank to produce a cool, dry, fragrant mist. The diffuser also has a lamp that gives an ambient glow with different settings depending on how bright you’d like it to be. Even better - it’s super easy to use and comes with a measuring cup, which you use to measure out the water for the diffuser. It also has several time settings, which means you can leave it on and it will shut off after the allotted time (Operation time - 30/60/120/180 mins) much safer than a candle.
Available now, nationwide and online at MUJI
From the skincare gods -otherwise known as La Roche-Posay, Serozinc is a refreshing facial toner formulated to target oily skin that is prone to breakouts.
It’s described as a “Cleansing, soothing zinc-sulfate solution” - the blurb says it’s a zinc-sulfate enriched “toning mist” and I find it to be a bit of a multitasker. I use it a lot when travelling as a quick cleanse, but I also use is as a refreshing mist throughout the day when it’s hot outside. But, it’s also great for those days when you’re having a little skin rage - when your skin is just a bit grumpy and having a little meltdown. My forehead is currently dealing with a whole family of under-the-skin blemishes and this product has become my go-to after cleansing, and before moisturising - I just spray it on, dab it in and that’s it.
Infused with Zinc Sulphate to reduce grease and mattify skin for a shine-free finish, whilst the brand's unique Thermal Spring Water works to purify and soothe skin to leave you with a healthy, even complexion. Experience revitalised, refined skin with a silky soft texture. Suitable for acne-prone skin.
So, Serozinc: It’s a good one to have in your skincare stash and really is a great multitasker. Once a beauty must-have I could only pick up when I was on a trip to Paris, Serozinc is now available in the UK.

As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to leopard print it is always a good idea.
While leopard has had down-times in its sartorial history, it can, in fact, be the ultimate in chic and style - with the added-benefit of telling everyone that you mean business.
I'm totally over Summer fashion now, and can't wait for the Autumn to begin. There's always a splash of leopard print on the High Street over A/W, and it's one of the hottest trends for the fourthcoming new season.
I've scoured the shops for the best pieces out there, and in true practical Laura style, these pieces can be worn before the cold weather hits. You know I love a transitional wardrobe item....
I meant to write this post in the run up to my wedding - just before I got married so I could tell you exactly how I was feeling, but last-minute wedding planning chaos totally took over and I found myself being a one-woman production line, knee deep in making table place settings.
So I thought I’d wait until now, 2 weeks after I got married to look back and remember exactly how I felt going from a Miss to a Mrs.
If you’ve got married, or are planning to then this will be no surprise when I say the most common question I was asked in the final few weeks leading up to the big day was “Eeeek! It’s so soon - how are you feeling? Nervous? Excited?”
My answer was always – I don’t know! I was always too distracted by something wedding related to actual stop and ‘feel’
I found myself wide awake at night, trying to work out how I felt about the wedding day and getting married, but I was just so distracted by serious things such as – have we ordered enough Prosecco? Or I’m not sure if I should’ve put Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio on our playlist.
Turns out, when you wake your husband-to-be at 3am to ask these questions, you find yourself having your sanity questioned. Not your emotions.
And yes, I had ordered enough Prosecco, and Gangsta’s Paradise went down so well with our guests – there’s even a video somewhere of me ‘rapping’ the lyrics to the whole song.
It wasn’t until the night before the wedding, when the venue had been fully set up and I’d checked in to our hotel room that I was able to sit back and let everything sink in. I remember feeling like I was 5 years old again and it was Christmas Eve – the butterflies in my stomach were from sheer excitement and I was feeling frustrated that the day was so close but seemed so far away. If it hadn’t been for the sleeping pill I took, I’m not sure I would’ve slept one wink.
On the morning of the wedding, I awoke at 5.30am (stupid seagulls) and sat at the window seat in my room looking out at the sea whilst the sun came up. I remember feeling so happy that I was finally marrying James. Writing my speech that morning (yep, a bit last minute but I made it work) didn't bring on any nerves, and when my bridesmaids and photographer arrived at the hotel I thought that may trigger tears but, it didn't - well, not from me - everyone else however...
I was practically sprinting to the ceremony with the girls as I couldn't wait a moment longer. All I felt was totally ready to be starting a new adventure in my life, and so so loved by everyone around me.
Having spent months searching for your perfect wedding dress, have you wondered what you will wear underneath it? Choosing the perfect underwear and lingerie to wear on your wedding day is just as special as choosing your bridal dress.
Bridal Lingerie is a combination of undergarments which can be made up of wedding panties, stockings, bridal bras and bridal garters that brides wear underneath their gowns. Traditionally bridal underwear is made of silk or satin. Having such delicate lingerie against your body all day will make you feel comfortable, confident and sexy throughout your special day.
Before you start searching through all the different types of sexy lacy undergarments you could wear to surprise your partner on your wedding night, begin with the most practical question- what bridal lingerie will work with my dress? This all depends on the type of bridal gown you have chosen.
Just as your wedding gown reflects your personality to friends, family and your spouse, your wedding lingerie is more personal and intimate affair with your soon-to-be-spouse that should bring out the passion and love you have for one another. There’s plenty of gorgeous bridal lingerie styles that can be both flattering and a little bit naughty too!
Traditional wedding dresses are typically white or a shade of white which would suit nude or white colored underwear to be less visible. Some modern brides may opt for wedding dresses that are of color, made of thick fabric or have many layers, giving you more colour options for your undergarments to choose from. For your something blue, why not choose a piece of lingerie that has a shade of blue included or a blue embellishment so you know you’re including that traditional piece hiding underneath your wedding gown?
Remember when choosing your sexy “for-their-eyes-only” lingerie that your gown is thick enough to conceal any details or color and don’t forget that white lingerie can sometimes be more visible underneath a white dress. So be sure to try on your entire outfit with the lingerie before your wedding day to make sure everything looks good. If you have a piece of lingerie you adore but it doesn’t flatter under your gown, save it for your wedding night or honeymoon for some fun with your new husband!
When you are buying your bridal lingerie, consider the type of materials the garments are made from and take into account the weather and season, if it is summer or midsummer, choose cotton and avoid synthetic fabrics such as nylon. Comfort is the ultimate key – you want to feel beautiful on your wedding day, not be pulled at in all the wrong places.
Flattering lingerie that flattens, lifts and generally makes you look smoother and more beautiful is the key. Finding a combination of gorgeous and comfortable is achieveable with the right lingerie designer. Choose pieces that are made from the highest quality fabrics and craftsmanship, and with little details that will enhance the passion and fun of your wedding day – and night too!
Every woman has a different style and dress sense, which should be reflected in the way the wedding dress and bridal lingerie has been chosen. Your wedding day is your special day which will only ever happen once, so getting it right is essential. Whatever you choose, make sure it’s fun, flattering and a little bit naughty!

In case you hadn’t already seen, last weekend I got married! Without sounding too cliche, it was one of the happiest days of our lives.
I won’t go into too much detail right now though as I’m planning on writing a whole lot more about the day as soon as the photos are back from our Photographer. I’ll be sharing everything from the DIYs I undertook, to how I found my dress and other tips I picked up along the way. I hope it will be of some use to anyone else planning a wedding, and for the rest of you who just fancy a nose behind-the-scenes.
I can't wait to share parts of our special day with you all!
