The weather has all of a sudden gone from mild to bloody freezing down here on the coast, and I for one am embracing the cold weather by way of knitwear, eggnog lattes and central heating.
Something I’ve avoided wearing for a couple of winters now are tights - they just seem a tad frumpy, and as I reach for a pair of jeans most days, they aren’t needed. But, now I’m trying to get back into wearing cute dresses and skirts (and was fairly successful with this over the Summer months), I’m starting to dabble in throwing a pair of tights on, and as I’d rather not have a dash of hypothermia with my new-found love of dresses and midi-skirts, I’m going to have to get back into wearing tights for the next few months.
I’ve tried a few brands out over the last couple of weeks, and my favourites are from the Pretty Polly Curves range - perfect for my wide hips and bum, these have a matte look finish with a touch of cashmere.
Who said tights have to be associated with frumpiness? These ones are perfect, comfortable, and make me feel a little chic. I think throwing on a dress could become a common thing for me.
